We all knew the site survives on ads revenue , nothing new ,I get a small box ad at the bottom and a side one as well, yes they irritate and I’ve said as much in Ed’s blog but there’s no flashing lights here etc, just go with the flow and see how it goes, no hasty slamming the door on AB

I agree Bobbi. But some Abers react very strongly. I'm trying to figure out why some people have so many ads...and ads that are visually irritating. Like you, I only have 2, maybe 3 little ads at any time.

More and more websites are going to insist that adblockers are turned off or use a paywall. They can't run a business without an income.

Also, I've never used an ad blocker. I see ads all the time here and there but not fussed. I've never clicked on any ads but they keep the site running. Otherwise wouldn't we need to pay a subscription fee?

The ads have never bothered me either, but they don't seem to be as bad as some are experiencing. I hope APG changes her mind and Apc as well.

Outside of crosswords I doubt there's more than 50 regular users anymore. I'm sure the site will carry on but unless you weren't a member back then no-one could deny there used to be way more posters and masses more traffic every day in the past.
