Did anybody watch this?
I haven't watched it so much since John Nettles and Brian True-May left, as I though it was going downhill, but I watched it last night and couldn't believe how bad it's got.
I always though that Neil Dudgeon was bad, but it seems to have spread throughout, they were all so wooden and the scene plays were so false, it was as though some college kids had made it.
Nice to see all the ethnic minorities in it though.

I enjoyed the story, it was the production that left me wanting.
last week's episode with griff rhys jones trying to act was dire

Yes, that is a thrill !!!!!!
I cant watch it. So hammy after Line of Duty, The Fall, Etc.
I watched it and quite enjoyed it. I didn’t really notice anything wrong with it. Sorry.
I watched half of it as had to turn over for LOD. Will download it later and finish off.
Midsomer is what it is
It's never pretended to be highbrow. It's brain-in-neutral escapist telly
Much like Death In Paradise , which we love too.
Yes, totally agree uncle al. My husband calls it moving wallpaper.
This is the first time I've ever watched it. Not usually my kind of drama.
I have stopped watching it as I find it lacks all the suspense and tension towards a climax which there was in the early programmes with John Nettles.
Question Author
I know that, as I said I liked the stories, far fetched as they usually are. It's the quality of the programme that's deteriorated.
Question Author
that was to uncle al
I knew who'd 'dunnit' as soon as he introduced himself to Barnaby! It seems to have run its course though, they're really struggling for storylines.
I thought this week's was marginally better than last week's, but they seem to be running out of ideas. That said ...... I still enjoy watching them. ;o)
