If you did please can you tell me who got shot at the end when Catherine said"Do it". Was it her or did the army nan commit suicide?

no one got shot, Valamentov shot in the air to signal the coup should start after Catherine nodded to him.

No-one, but likely Leo got the chop. Symbolic.

tigger, last this series, IMDB has S2 defined but there appears to be no indication that there will be an S2.

Oh good. Couldn't have just ended there. They have to show how she actually became 'great'.

Filming of series 2 started last November.

I enjoyed the first series, though I did think it could have been shorter.
I'll still look forward to the second series.
