Looking forward to it, brand new series by Jimmy McGovern, today and rest of week, on BBC 1 at 2.15pm. Can’t believe it’s his twelve!

All series recorded as I never watch daytime TV, but will certainly enjoy them !
Set to be recorded should say.
Thank you for the tip Rosy, A real treat, got something to look forward to now;-))
I actually mentioned this last week, but only one person showed an interest. No need to record - all five parts are on iPlayer from today.

Oops sorry gingerjbee, I didn’t see that at all, duh
No worries...it was a bit of a throwaway mention anyway. More people are now aware of it...so all good!
Ginge, not everyone has a smart tv. I like to watch tv on my big tv, not my desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
barry, yes, I am aware that not everyone has catch-up capabilities. I simply mentioned it for information, since this is a recent phenomenon ie the whole of a new, current series being available to stream even before it's available off-air.
Never heard of it but will give it a go. I've put it on the planner.
It's excellent drama, BD, haven't seen a bad episode yet.
gingebee - I prefer to record.
Love these programmes. My old boss is in the one tomorrow ☺
Ive not heard of it either, but will set it to record. Thanks for the tip!
I also do not have a smart television, a lap top, smart phone or even a mobile!
Thank God for Jimmy McGovern- proper drama without being drowned out by overloud background music
Im really enjoying these episodes this week. I wish it was on all next week as well, its a real treat.
As good as it is, it may surprise some of you to learn that McGovern hasn't written any of the episodes since 2019. Up to that point he had written all 44 episodes between 2010 and 2019. Since then, a number of writers have taken up the mantle. McGovern is, of course, the creator and executive producer.
