ok I am a huge OFAH fan, I'm watching Yuppy love right now, ok in the night club scene Mickey, Jevon and Rodney are talking. Now I know it word for word, sad I know, so at the start of the scene camera moves into the 3 talking and Jevon says "..and tonights lucky winner is..." - right, with me so far? However originally Jevon says: "Right I have given you two losers and audience so far but now it's time to do what I was put on this Earth to do, bring excitement and pleasure to the lives of attractive young women....and tonights lucky winner is...." - so what was possibly offensive about that? why was that cut? why are classic TV shows being ruined? slashed to pieces?
If you hate the show don't comment, if you don't know what I'm talking about then you cannot possibly be of use in this post, again, don't comment, thanks.

I'm not sure by whay medium you are watching it, but I found this...

Note: "The Spell! (Get Down With The Genie)" and "Enchanted Lady" are removed on the VHS, DVD and iTunes versions and over-dubbed with generic music, leading to some scenes of dialogue being removed.
Are you watching on a tv channel with adverts? They cut a lot out of the programmes to make BBC shows fit in to their schedules. Very annoying
Ta Wolf, that ties in with what I quoted above - Music Rights are often responsible for cuts.
It'll be remoaners at work, anti-British at their best, etc.
Mamya
There were some brilliant one-liners in the programme. It seems so long ago.
There certainly were, watched them all, once only - I am not big on rewatching.

ok but they normally just dub the music with another tune, better than this vandalism surely.
They did dub the music with some generic stuff but if the dialogue was over the original sound then that would go too.

It's a shame of course.
but let that be a lesson to you not to assume!
