I know we have an official rememberance day

However sitting here watching 'The World At War ' reminds me that while we are / about to tuck into our Turkey crown and sprouts , things would have been so different if our brave soldiers and others hadn't laid down their lives to defeat the aspirations of one Mr Hitler and his collabrators .

Let's raise our glasses to those who allowed us to be here today - free citizens as we tuck into our Christmas fare .

Never forgotten.
Ever thankful. I never knew my relatives that didn't come home from WWI and WWII we always raise a toast to them on special occasions.
Just hope their sacrifice has not been sold down the river in recent days.
Well posted, Braz. Glass in hand right now, WW2 relatives and friends RIP) in mind and will be visualised.
Remember, no-one is dead until they are forgotten.
To better times ahead.
Cheers to all.
