Why doesn’t Sarah Moore get some glasses instead of always squinting.

Why not ask her (whoever she is)? She probably has an answer.
she is off the tv, so bit hard to do so.
There are lots of ways to interact with TV persons now....
not sure i would want to to be honest.
ok
She always reminds me of a soldier marching! Cannot believe some of the things people want to throw away. Have they not heard of charity shops or Freecycle?
Yes, she's not very ladylike is she? I like her but i do think she walks like a bloke.
Do you really think she just walks up to complete strangers and asks for their junk? Its all set up. Otherwise how would she know where they live to take them the money?
its a strange programme, often what is turned into something, is worse than what was thrown out.
Im always puzzled where she sells the finished articles to at such high prices.
more telegenic wivvart

if you remember Butch Dingle in crossroads or somewhere
he wore bottle rim glasses off camera - I was always amazed he didnt walk into anything
"Im always puzzled where she sells the finished articles to at such high prices."

She hangs around outside the artisan bread shops until she spies a target. :-)

Slightly off topic but hasn't the announcer got the most boring voice ever?
I watch it but I too am surprised at the price some things then sell for!! X
It's programmes like this that suggests to me councils do not understand what recycling means. They seem to think it's throwing items into a skip and then take it to landfill. Why don't they, say once a week, allow people pay a small fee to check the skips out under supervision and if they see something useful allow them to purchase it, again for a small fee. The council makes money, items are properly recycled and there's less landfill.
The narrator is Arthur Smith, a fabulous comedian. Lankeela, the show's runners take their personal details off camera.
Vulcan, by the time stuff hits the bottom of the skip it is beyond upcycling.
/// often what is turned into something, is worse than what was thrown out. ///

But it's more Arty ;-)

I do agree that it's surprising how they find well-heeled buyers for some of the trash.
Its a daft idea because the likes of you and me are not allowed to go and take things to stop them being chucked into the skips at recycling centres.
