Throw,damn predictive text.
He's popular with young people because he lives and talks like they do, so he is on their level.

I suggest you may be a more 'senior' viewer, in which case, learn to ignore him - he is not speaking to yoou, so you are entitled to take lots of no notice.
Rugby's on 2...
I don't know why as I don't usually like such camp performers but I love Rylan, I think he's a genuinely nice person and his way of talking makes me laugh.
Not 2, 4...
Hes grew on me since he and his Mum were doing Gogglebox
I've always thought, Andy, that Rylan's Radio 2 show is angled towards older listeners, particularly with the section where he chats to his elderly mother.

However I agree with Grumpy01 that those Cinch ads are IMMENSELY annoying!

That may be, I don't listen, so i can't comment with any knowledge.

It's fact that there has always been a slot in the media for 'harmless' gay men, the ones who won't frighten the horses, and the mums and grannies can fuss over, and the young ladies can yearn for as a friend they can talk to who would never make a move on them.
He seems okay to me, his entertaining, like someone who cares about people and wouldnt be nasty or unreasonible
Is that his name now tho (married name?) - a thought he was just Ryland Clark
I like Rylan, if you want to wreck your TV set, go ahead.

I think he's funny

Do you think I would do that Mamyalynne but it’s just my dislike of these so called stars like him and those two irritating Geordies making these pathetic adverts. That brought about the comment.
I think he's brilliant.

I wouldn't call him a star though. A celeb, not a star.
It is his married name.
He comes across as a nice bloke who doesn’t take himself too seriously.
i too want to chuck something at the tv when he's on, i don't obviously because wouldn't want to buy another expensive tv especially.
I don't allow myself to get so angry about people on TV, I press a button.
I feel I should dislike him, but I can't bring myself to. He is strangely likeable.
I've never watched anything he's in but he appeared on Gogglebox with his mother a few times and I didn't warm to him at all. It was the way he put down his mother all the time. I guess it was supposed to be funny but I didn't find it so. Perhaps he's OK when he's not with his mother ...
