Will anyone be watching Great Canal Journeys tomorrow?

It is on Channel4 at 8.00, with Shelia Hancock and Gyles Brandreth.

I will miss Tim and Pru, but I will watch this new one.

I will be watching it. I enjoyed the original series.
Aside from the beautiful places they visit, Tim and Pru's obvious chemistry is what makes the programme watchable. I will record it but i do fear that Gyles Brandreth has a tendency to get on my nerves after only a short while. All probably depends upon just how much he tries to hog the limelight. Or hopefully not.
(Soz,Im laughing at the way the link has come out) ;-))
I might give it a look.
I can't stand that Brandreth bloke! Might watch it with no sound and subtitles, just don't like his voice/attitude, a shame because it's such a nice series.
Yes
I enjoyed it
I missed it unfortunately (OH and snooker) but will watch tomorrow. Brandreth is someone I admire and I have met him - a very pleasant chap.

I miss Tim and Pru, but I did enjoy it. I look forward to next week.
I really like Gyles but I'm glad Sheila reins him in now and again :)
I had my doubts...but enjoyed it. So that's a Sunday night winner.
Only two episodes this series - do two episodes count as a series? I don't know if that is due to Covid or whether the production company is just testing the public reaction. Gyles is very much like Marmite but I've never heard a bad word about Sheila
I loved it. I can’s believe Sheila is 87!
Question Author
I could not believe her age either, I think she did very well.
I don't like her and I don't know why and to make it worse I feel that I should:-(
Question Author
No reason why you should like her Ladybirder, you won't enjoy the programme then.
That's a difficult one Marval because I just love Gyles Brandreth and the whole ethos of the programme. I'll probably give it another go next week.
I've just watched it. Absolutely delightful. There's nothing wrong with 'nice'. Good job both.
