In Ghosts, the captain, is he from WW1 or WW2 I looked both uniforms up on google and they are so similar TIA

i think though not 100 percent sure he is from WW1
I think WWI, in one episode an experimental mine was evident and in WWII it'd not have been experimental.

The Captain's medal ribbons indicate WW2 (War Medal 1939–1945, Defence Medal, France and Germany Star, and 1939-1945 Star). They are being worn upside down which is why they are displayed in reverse order of wear.

Various experimental weapons were developed during WW2. Mines certainly existed before then but new types were developed during 1939-45.
