AO are usually good
I wouldn't touch Bush or any other Argos own brands. All cheap and nasty and built down to a price.
I find very often that smaller specialist shops can beat the big ones on price and service so don't discount them .

I'll keep that in mind
True ^^^...after buying several appliances from ao, I discovered the same models a bit cheaper at a local shop. Though I can't fault ao, their service is great.
It scores 4.7/5 from 760 reviews on the Argos site so there must be a few things good about it.
You won't find it at a cheaper price elsewhere...it's only available at Argos. (Argos bought the rights to several well-known brand names and stick them onto many items made specially for them).

Oh right I didn't know that thanks
Try your local Euronics shop - they are all independent shops in their own rights but use the buying power of Euronics
Recently bought this one for my daughter and she is thrilled with it.
She lives in a flat and appreciates the 1600 spin speed. It cost £229. They took away her old machine and fitted the new one but that did cost extra.

Have you had a look at John Lewis they are often the same price for washing machines as other stores but you get twice the length of guarantee. Worth a look.

Bakers dozen that one looks great
Bush Which? test verdict:
One to avoid
Don't waste your time with this Bush washing machine. It's affordable but that's the only thing it has going for it. When it comes to shifting everyday stains from clothes, it's a washday letdown that gets a measly one star, and that's why we've made it a Don't Buy.
Pros
Rinsing isn't bad and it's easy to use.
Cons
Poor at removing stains on its cottons and synthetics programs.Which? verdict: One to avoid
