well I thought so, you had to use the same swab up your both nostrils after swabbing the back of your throat, you had to move the swab 5 times over the tonsils which make you balk then push the swab as far up your nostril to where it became uncomfortable, this made me sneeze and made my eyes water

i am glad that i am not having one done then, i can't stand anything near the nostrils, or indeed the back of the throat.

I've had two tests. Although not pleasant it isn't bad. Takes a few seconds, done and dusted. Try not to put people off, Bobbi.

Not pleasant, I agree, much gagging and sneezing for me too. I don’t know why you needed more than one hand, though.

Mr BM went to hospital and had one there this morning. He said it was fine.

Probably better having it done rather than doing it yourself! I hate anything down my throat. Up my nose wouldn't bother me but it would make me sneeze. I'm a very sneezy person!

I think you're right APC. Better to have someone else do it.

He had both his nostrils and his throat done. Said he wretched slightly but it was over in a jiffy and he can't see what all the fuss is about.

I haven't got any tonsils, unless they regrow. I never look down my throat!
