Just watched this and didn't understand how celebrities who were only friends could be watching tv in the same room e.g. Gyles Brandreth was watching with Maureen Lipman and Jamie Theakston was with Ashley Roberts. It was current so they should only have been meeting in the open air.

Well it's hardly essential work and if it's okay for two strangers to be indoors 2 metres apart, it seems a bit harsh that you can't see a family member indoors while keeping 2 metres apart.
Throughout the various stages of the lockdown regulations, people have been told to continue working (other than in businesses closed under the Regulations such as pubs, restaurants, some shops, etc) wherever possible. There has never been any reference to 'essential' in either the Regulations or the gudelines for most types of employment.

So, for example, (unless they could work from home) people doing non-essential jobs, such as making plastic novelties, were (and still are) expected to continue going to and from their place of work as long as they can remain 2 metres apart whilst there. It's no different for those who work in the media.
I think you should address your concerns to the Minister for Health, FL2. Good luck.
Lovely to see Maureen Lipman, I like her. He was with Sheila Hancock last time.
We didnt see much of Zoe Ball and Woody, did we?
That Sondra married to the football bloke looked a bit ragged.
Didn't see Laura Whitmore at all, unless I blinked and missed her.
I assume you mean Harry Redknapp and Sandra.
I thought he called her Sondra, must be his accent.
I think she has overdone the sunbed.
Harry’s in danger of over exposing himself ( on tv ) I mean haha
Yep :-)
It was funny when they were watching 'Misery'. Having seen it I did cringe again myself though.
Poor Sondra's overdone the cosmetic surgery too. (meow) lol!
Too many Caribbean beach holidays.
I only saw a little bit of it, but the clip of the little boy calling 999 and having to perform CPR on his dad was in turn heartbreaking and euphoric. I never saw the show it came from, but I was as close to tears as most of the celebs were.
We watched ‘Ambulance’ for the first time this week. I almost needed counselling at the end. Respect to the crews and controllers!
Our Saturday night viewing is to be the A word, missed it first time round
I like gogglebox, but using * celebrities * is a step too far.
