Don't answer just to Troll, if you hate Bond fine I don't want to know.
Some suggestions here ....

....but I've been impressed with Taron Egerton of late and I think he'd make a great Bond.

Grrrr. I forget his name but he recently played Dracula in a recent TV 3 part serial. He is Scandinavian. I commented then to my wife he would be a perfect James Bond. Very swarve and debbonair.
Idris Elba for me. Love Tom Hardy but he's too short and so is Richard Madden. Cumberbatch makes me want to be sick. So yes, Idris definitely.
Idris Elba maybe.
Or how about a woman? Gillian Anderson or Jodie Comer.
Tom Hiddleston for me.

Claes Bang? Nope, can't have a Scandy accent - TBF he does look the part - next!
Hope it's not Richard Madden as he doesn't quite do it for me.
It's gotta me someone beefy, like Idris, Daniel Mays, Mark Bonnar to name a few.
Claes Bang
Retro, do you mean Alexander Skargaard?
Question Author
Idris Elba? nope, must be caucasian, next

Hiddleston, possibly but ruined it with Loki. - next
Daniel Mays.
Thing is TTT. He didn't have a scandy accent. When,in flashback,he was a German count he had a refined British toff accent. Ideal
// how about a woman? //

that would fundamentally change the character in a way that the result would not be Bond (for instance Bond as written is a womaniser - I don't believe the audience is ready for a lesbian Bond).
Daniel Mays.
Ian Fleming was a RNVR Navy Commander in British Naval intelligence during the last World War. Some of his friends reckon he based James Bond on himself so............I'm afraid no females and no one of colour for this particular role.imo
James Norton.
If I can't have Idris, then yes James Norton for me as well.
Norton looks too much like a baddie, rough & uncouth. Even as a vicar he was miscasted.
I amy suave and I can spell it really. ooops
Alex Pettyfer, looks right, six footer, haven't heard him speak though. Whoever gets the part must sound right as well as look right.
