Why Casualty Missed An Episode

The reason Casualty missed an episode last week has been revealed. During the episode it featured a patient on a ventilator who later died. Because of the Coronavirus it was not shown. People die in hospital all the time, why is it any different now? Surely they could have put the usual warning out before the programme started? Do you think they should have shown it?

Can't see why they didn't show it.Death is a fact of life.
Nothing wrong with not wanting to cause extra grief for anyone who has lost somebody recently in simiar circumstances.

A warning at the start may have been an option, but I completely understand the decision.
Mozz, that could apply to anyone who has suffered a death due to any reason in similar circumstances as one portrayed in Casualty.

That's as maybe Danny, but that can be unfortunate for the people involved, but this is over 30,000 people, a lot of families mourning loved ones. I don't see this as anything other than the Beeb showing respect for those families.
