Why has Gogglebox started commenting on episodes of Killing Eve 2 days before they have to be shown on terrestrial TV? Means that I have to record the show & then watch it after Sunday night's showing. Good way to lose viewers from a popular programme!

That's odd. They always seem to be behind to me
They always comment on the week gone by when I watch it.
I agree. For some reason this series is first aired online before its terrestrial broadcaast.
I think Friday's episode of Gogglebox referred to the previous Sunday's episode of Killing Eve -that's what various programme guides say.
^This series of 'Killing Eve'
^not where I am. Friday night's Gogglebox refers to the following Sunday's broadcast episode which streamed online the previous Monday.
Killing Eve is available to download before its aired on BBC. It is very annoying they are commenting on it before its aired.

It seems that they are definitely watching the online transmission, presumably much earlier in the week. Last Fridays comments referred to tonight's episode regardless of what the guides say!
Thanks, Calibax and APG. I don't watch the show, but the listings I looked at seemed to indicate it was already-aired episodes that were being discussed. I've checked again, and saw that Metro had an article about this 'spoiling', with many complaints.
I thought why, Gogglebox, why? was an excellent question. I can't understand why anyone watches it
^^same as barry....can't understand the attraction at all.
I just popped in to see who were this threads naysayers.
....and now you know..?
I'd seen the episode they had on gogglebox. It was last week's.

I watch it because it makes me laugh, Barry.
Surely we’ve accepted that not all people like the same things by now and our subjective opinions don’t need to descend into ‘debates’ about what is and is not funny?
On threads that the header says

''Jimmy Carr is crap what do you think?''

Why not...but on threads such as this it is a bit lame.
The thread is not about the credibility or whatever of Goggle Box as a programme - its about the fact they are reviewing a programme on Friday night that does on air on 'normal' TV until Monday evening.

FWIW I think its a really good programme, makes me laugh sometimes cringe and sometimes go look at the programmes they have reviewed that I haven't seen.
I love Gogglebox, not so much for the programmes they review but for the families themselves. Giles and Mary are hilarious as are the Siddiqui family and Jenny and Lee.
apg, Killing Eve is on BBC1 on Sundays. Gogglebox reviewed last Sunday's episode on the following Friday.
But surely a programmes credibility is lessened if it shows clips of a popular series which haven’t aired yet?
