Eggheads On Bbc

Does anyone know when a new series of Eggheads is coming back on BBC to evening 6pm slot?

Maybe they’ll have to have a new egghead to replace Dave Rainford who sadly passed away.

It's on at 4pm at the moment. Don't know if they are repeats.

I read somewhere that they're not doing another series. The ones being shown currently are repeats.

There won't be any more Eggheads. The episodes being shown currently were filmed last year.

In its wisdom, the BBC thinks that the audience are too old and it wants to encourage younger viewers. It also says in today's daily paper that this is one of the most popular programmes on BBC.

According to the telegraph the series on now will be the last. We need eggheads as a member of the older generation it keeps our brain active and it is good to exercise the mind. The younger generation spend most of the time texting and playing games on smart phones so the BBC is wasting it's time if they think axing eggheads will encourage younger viewers!
