Yes, I watched and enjoyed it - hope this series will be as good as earlier ones.
First time I watched it, it was interesting and I picked up a few ideas

I don't know how many years it's been on, but I watched it for the first time last year and couldn't wait for this year's to start. I already have my favourite. Did you think the right person left last night?
I really enjoyed the programme and it filled the gap left by the similar pottery throughdown.

I think the right person left last night, but I dont think I've quite seen enough of each of them yet to chose a favourite or the winner.

The only thing I struggle with on the programme is the little lady talking through her false teeth!
I’ve watched and enjoyed it. It always makes me want to get my sewing machine out. I think the right person left last night.

Aww you see, I thought the young man should have left, he seemed to make many mistakes.

I can't even sew, but I love this programme.

They put a dress together in such a short time!
I have watched all the series, but find Joe Lycett such an annoying person, that it somewhat spoils it for me. His continuous jokes, which are not even funny, are just not necessary.
Love this programme. Could have been either of the two not very good ones chosen to leave. Dave loved what the guy did with the shirts and won that challenge......I didn't!.... far too messy.......:-)

He is indeed a strange choice for this show, but I don't really mind him. It's the little woman expert I'm not too keen on personally.
Here goes , I know your not gonna believe this but ..I enjoyed it .seams to me woman expert could become the new Mary Berry of television .
Now I think Joe is perfect for the show.....adds entertainment and I just like him.....lots.... :-)

Gness - I hated that 'shirt' dress, was hoping against hope he wouldn't win that, but overall he is a damn good sewer.

I suppose it's like Noel Fielding in GBBO, some don't like him in that, but I do.
Question Author
Yes, you have surprised me there weecalf!
I love this programme, caught it on catchup last night.
Hated the mash up shirt dress that won but could see why they chose it.
I really like all three presenters, they each bring something different to the show.
I'm loving it too, Vagus. I have watched from the first episode. Dave got into it late and is enjoying it so he went back to series one. It's quite different and even better now I think.
I’ve watched all the series of it too gness and really enjoy it. They’re always such a diverse bunch of sewers, such imagination.
It is the imagination, Vagus but the shirty thing was a bit far for me though Dave loved it.
I watched it for the first time this week and really enjoyed it.

Nearly thirty years ago when I was a 40 odd year old bachelor I bought a sewing machine. The first job I attempted was shortening the sleeves of a rather expensive Nicole Farhi jacket, which involved removing the cuffs. My girlfriend thought I was bonkers. I actually did an OK job though if you ignore the fact that I put the cuffs back on the wrong sleeves, and nobody every noticed that anyway. I had my girlfriend’s family round to my pad that year for Xmas dinner and made a matching tablecloth and napkins, which impressed the hell out of them! Anyway, she has been my misses every since so it was clearly money well spent! (And I haven't needed to use it since!)
