Just watched the first episode and it looks good. Plus it’s on for the next four nights. No waiting for weeks and weeks. I can recommend it. ITV1.

That is good to know, I am recording it as I refuse to watch any programme with adverts live.
I’ll watch it tomorrow night again chrissa, but I thought the acting of the two main characters was awful :-)

Hmmm, anne. They didn’t really have any long periods of dialogue. Unlike the kids. It has promise though.
I think it has .
Gave it fifteen minutes then turned over. One of those where there are so many storylines that you can never follow it.
...btw, it's on for the next THREE nights....four in total.
I'll keep watching and give it another try tonight, although the first episode didnt really grab me.
I thought it very similar to the recent Gold Digger. Spent most of the time marvelling at Stephen Rea's hair - impressive for someone who's 73, and not dyed.
We both enjoyed it, long time since I’ve seen Francesca Annis in anything. Didn’t find it confusing at all, unlike some of the more convoluted programmes which have been on over recent months.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thinking that she is going to marry Mark and then he will have control of her money but..I could be completely wrong.
The orthopaedic surgeon looks like Fred West!
It's good. Easy to follow after all the convoluted stuff that's been on.
Did nobody else stay with this? I thought it was rather good.
Totally enjoyed it. Thought Stephen Rea was a little miscast at first but he grew into the role. The way it ended definitely creates hope for a second series.
Thought Stephen Rea's best tv role came as the rather unassuming hitman in The Shadow Line.
I enjoyed it too, and agree with Ken that there is hope for a second series. I thought all the acting was really good. Imelda Staunton was creepy!!
^
Yeah, definitely one or two slates loose with her character.
Ken...I'm glad to mentioned a second series. That's what I thought at the end....a few pointers, I'm sure.
Ken, whilst I thoroughly enjoyed this, I thought Stephen Rea was miscast in this role. I found nothing likeable about him at all, and wondered why a woman like Viv would be attracted to him. I don’t think he’s a very good actor either.
I agree, it’s been left wide open for another series.
