Just curious but how many ABers are regular cinema goers?
Just been to see The Joker. I don't own a TV so going to see a film is something of a treat. And there is something different about viewing a film on the big screen as opposed to viewing a film on a goggle box.
With all the different TV options now available (film channels, films on demand etc) is going to the cinema something that you still do?

No, haven't been in ages. As you say, there are so many other options, and I like being at home when I can.
To me only big films are worth a trip to the cinema and there have been precious few recently, probably the new Bond will be our next.
I haven't been to the cinema for years. I like to be at home.
I normally go to the cinema once a week - love seeing films on the big screen. There's a different atmosphere. Saw Judy last week and am going to see Sorry We Missed You next week.
I do not enjoy watching films in todays modern cinemas. In London and suburbs they all seem to display about six different screenings in the same cinema. I find that being too close to the screen causes me nausea. I prefer the old Rank cinemas (Literally with fag smoke) where we had the main A movie, a 'Look at Life' interlude and a B movie to follow. No wide screen carp and CGI. Last movie I watched in a cinema was Dunkirk and it seemed most of the patrons treated it as a dining hall with slurping fizz and crunching popcorn.I hate modern cinemas and would rather watch a DVD in my own home with a pause facility for drink top ups and toilet breaks.
Yes, I go to cinema regularly. Last film I saw was Judy and the next will be The Good Liar. I do get discounted tickets though. There is no comparison between watching on a big screen and a tv screen.
No and it's so expensive for what it is.
Popcorn is £50 per cup...
I don't go as much and as regularly as I used to not so much the price but do tend to go get something to eat etc... before hand which does add up.

Only big films I suppose as well (Mentioned above) with so many other options available, Last film I went to watch was Toy Story4. :-)
I would love to go more often but it is too expensive for me.

Sorry. Disagree. I feel physically sick being too close to a large screen in our small cinemas these days.
I didn't even know there was a Toy Story 4. I must be out of date, only saw as far as 3 :-)
Yes, Pixie, and I have two massive bags in the cupboard for £1.50 each.
I can't wait to watch Toy Story 4 :-)
Retrocop - I suppose it depends on the size of the cinema. I wouldn't want to sit close to the screen either.
As before. I watched the new Version of Dunkirk. I couldn't hear half of the dialogue. The acoustics were awful. My son burnt me off a DVD and at least I could control the volume in my own house and rewind if necessary.
Ummm.....might be a good excuse to take granddaughter:-)
No spoilers... Toy story 4 is really good/funny etc.. as you'd expect, the second one is still my favourite.
The cinema experience in the UK is very expensive (and a bit crap) anyway. I went to see a film by Todd Douglas Miller (Apollo 11) in the AMC in the US. The price was $13 as opposed to our £13. Every seat was a faux leather, electronically reclinable seat with legrest. Even with the legrest extended, people could still get past the seat to get to their own. The film experience was incredible and I bought the blu ray disc but watching it in the cinema was on another level.
I love them all :-)
