this is a very interesting three part documentary on HMS Queen Elizabeth
you can watch it on BBC 2 or on I Player, if you have it.
I must say i am fascinated with ships and thought this might be a good
one to watch. She is the Navy's new super aircraft carrier and will
carry the new F35 Lightening. Definitely worth a look see.

I don't think this would just appeal to the men, but women too, seeing as how many now serve in the Navy and on board HMS QE.

you can catch all parts on I player, but Part 3 in on tonight 8pm BBC2.

it is very interesting and when she docked at Portsmouth Harbour she dwarfed the other ships and the people all look like the Borrowers....

It's a shame that Great Britain ruled the waves with the largest Navy in the World.
Now we have about 19 surface ships and 10
submarines (4 Nuclear and six attack) Lots of minesweepers and Fast Patrol Boats. We can't keep the English channel free of a Flotilla of rubber rafts containing illegal immigrants.
