Any views on how Gemma's Mum found that ring last night? Needle in a haystack springs to mind!

no more ridiculous than the rest of that story, the only saving factor for me is chesney's expressions,
I think I must have fallen asleep. Which ring is this? I saw Chesney with a ring when they were in the cable car and she knocked it out of his hand for some reason.
Assuming Coronation Street is somewhere near Manchester, the journey would take approximately 2 hours each way!
They were taken to a local hospital where Gemma's mum came to be with her daughter.
Chesney had filmed the approximate area where the ring fell on his phone. Mum obviously raked around on the tiny Great Orme and found it quickly.
I don't even watch this but picked this up when my wife was watching.
Keep up!!
I remember thinking how utterly ridiculous that was, surely all clumps of bushes look the same ?? And how did she know how to get to the area where the ring was dropped, never having lived in the area before ?? And as for the birth, well I'm speechless - was she actually nine months gone already ….
I know the Great Orme quite well and there are a lot of bushes there even if you have a photo which would have been taken from a different angle. The nearest neo-natal unit is approx 17 miles away. What with the traffic, parking (atrocious!) even if she had a car, she wouldn’t have been back in a flash. The whole storyline was ridiculous.
Can't believe all 4 babies were born alive and breathing on their own , very unlikely.
Obviously she came across a large group of boy scouts and girl guides on the Orme, told them the amazing story of Gemma going in to labour in the cable car, Chesney losing the ring. As it happens the children were accompanied by the Mountain Rescue on a training exercise who had their sniffer dogs with them. They all set to with gusto in the search for the ring and clearly luck was on their side.

It's all a bit of light relief in the wake of Sinead's death, Corrie has always had its share of silliness. Remember Les and the waterbed?
Why's that, Darcey? A set of quads born in 1935 are still with us today :)
I must admit, it did cross my mind a little that it was to lighten the load after Sinead's tragic death. From one extreme to the other !
I don't know how far Llandudno is from Manchester, but I do not believe for a minute Bernie went there, rummaged through the bushes and found that ring!! She is so darn lazy and doesn't do anything unless there is something in it for her.
SharonA, Gemma didn't give birth in Manchester - she was taken to the nearest neo-natal unit to Llandudno.
^^She was actually in Wales where Gemma had been taken to a local hospital and they all came to see her.
Of course as it was in Wales everyone had a Welsh accent and a Welsh name!
I know she was in Wales, but Bernie soon got there & trot off to look for the ring.
I couldn’t work out how or why the ring came to be dropped in the first place. Was she trying to grab it from, Chesney?
