It was a two parter on BBC2 earlier this week at 9pm. I watched my recordings last night
I saw the trailer, that was enough!
It was worrying but at the same time fascinating.

I really can't say any more than that.
They're not keen on her here either:

She told a woman who is utterly miserable about her weight that she could not be part of the Body Positive Movement (a political body, apparently) if she went on a diet, even if it was because she had a critical disease that would improve if she lost weight. Dieting is against body positivity according to Victoria.

Thanks for the link, Chelle :)
Wow...I'll have a look at that.
It is wrong on so many levels!
A comment which stood out "I've been thin and it didn't make me happy"

They must have been sad already but didn't have the crutch of food. It's not her being happy with her weight, it's her being able to eat things that makes her feel good.
Did not like her message at all, dangerous.
I think she was on a money making exercise.
Intuitive eater!!!!!
It's an awful message. I think it's horrible to fat shame someone but it shouldn't be promoted.
Sounds like one of yer actual gurus.

There'll be no shortage of willing followers keen to fund the cause and blame everybody but themselves.
Who Are You Calling Fat? You ya great tub of lard.

Something of which i'd never say, knowing a few porkers, heart conditions etc... this show seems very nasty.
Glad to see the majority want to lose weight.
I watched it and was pretty horrified at the inability of some of them to hear another point of view. The gobbledygook which was being presented by the "body positive" women was frightening. I agree with umm - fat people should not be shamed but being overweight should not in itself be promoted. A dangerous and - I hate to use the word - ignorant message.
I watched it and I must admit I don't really understand the mindset of people like Victoria, although I know there are other overweight people who love their bodies, there must be many more who don't. I'm not sure what the idea is of making this programme.

Barsel, I'm not sure that Victoria does love her body.
I don't think she does at all.

Was Victoria the one in the red bikini short hair and glasses?
