Great television last night, and Sir David back to his imperious best. The penguin chick playing with the fluff was fantastic.

Although I have to admit, every time he mentioned climate change, I pictured another ABer shouting abuse at the TV and switching over to a different channel.

Anyone else enjoy?

It was truly excellent, the scenes under the ocean were amazing even if they were at high speed - stunning. The Albatross was so hard to watch, evolution seems to have skipped something there.

I thoroughly enjoyed it & was very happy it was available in UHD - stunning :-)
Yes, Mozz, thoroughly enjoyed it. Found the piece on the penguin trying to escape being dinner a lot more tense and exciting than any car chase i've ever seen.
...what about the Albatros? Did that upset you?
Yes, brilliant programme. Stunning photography and informative commentary.

I haven't watched it yet. I have read about the albatross today in the news. It's put me off watching the programme. I'm such a cry baby.
The programme was fantastic ,none better
What happened to the Albatross did it get killed? I never watch these programmes as I can't stand to watch animals kill each other. Big cats are my favourite wild animal but because I know they kill anything that moves really, I won't watch them.
Nothing wrong with those kind of tears Tilly. I would urge you to watch though.x

The albatross had a good ending though. All ended well unless I missed something.
Watch it Tilly. You'll be really rooting for the albatross chick, even if you do know what happens. It was sad watching it's struggle and I was praying for it to make it.
I know that animals struggle and die, I know that they eat each other, I just find no uplift or entertainment in watching it
It ended well for the chick we saw struggle to be recognised but not so for many around it.
Sorry, my reply was to Mozz.
I'm guessing you didn't really mean "imperious":

My mistake Jim. I thought it simply meant "commanding"!
woofgang: well said, I'm with you on that one, Awful thing happen in nature but I choose not to watch programmes that make entertainment out of watching something get eaten alive. It makes me physically sick. I think David Attenborough is over -rated really. Nice chap though.
why have we got SEVEN continents now?
there were only five when I was at school
They've been there for quite a while:

Europe
Africa
Asia
Antarctica
North America
South America
Oceania
The whole world seems more in continent.
