Just watched the first episode. Stellar cast and a very solid start to a four part drama. Almost forgot it was on and had to watch it on 4 + 1 - and, before any would be comedians chip in, i don't mean Channel 5:-) Anyone else watched it?

Rosie, the writer, Jack Thorne, has a very good pedigree, cutting his teeth on writing episodes for Shameless and Skins, among others. He also created the series Glue and Kiri.

What a pity the makers of this series attempted to have the actors speak Welsh, totally ruined it IMO .

I watched it too and it was good. She's a very good actress. I barely noticed the accents.

I liked it but not sure for how long i will continue if the domestic violence gets any worse. I felt really uncomfortable and Mr M found it slow, so its not likely to become our must see drama.

Her weight does not detract from her skills as an actress.

Maydup....I don't like seeing that either. They could do it so we could hear it and know, but we don't need to see it. I wonder how many abusers get wound up watching it, male or female.

Tilly...she looks fine imo. SK is hardly svelte (I can say that as he's posted enough pics of himself)
