What did the fans of this series think last night ? I enjoyed it, but I haven't the faintest idea what's going on !! Does anyone ?? I didn't think the Barrister would turn up dead, I expected her to still be alive ..

I think exactly the same as you...not a clue what’s going on or why, and fully expected the barrister to pop up alive somewhere at some point.

I think his mate has been ‘got at’ and forced to go along with the body in the car boot, I don’t think he’s part of all the conspiracy.
And no, he didn’t have his fingers chopped off, nor was he captured, it was all hocus pocus in the same way all the CCTV has been fiddled with.
Someone I know thinks the barrister was killed because of her humanitarian work and the Americans wanted her gone, and it’s them who are behind it all. The soldier just happened to be her last case, and the Americans set him up to make it seem he killed her.

Vagus - we know he didn't have his fingers cut off, or that he killed the barrister. It's just how are they making it look like he did.

By fiddling with CCTV and superimposing stuff, anything is possible these days to make things appear different to the reality.

Well, I’m not an MI6 spy or anything, but I do believe anyone can hack into anything if they have the technical knowledge so my best guess is that’s how it’s being done. The Americans are hacking into whatever they need to, to enable them to set this up. A student hacked into the Pentagon system not that long ago...
And they’re putting a time delay on it to make it look like real time when in fact it’s not, this was explained by the sports producer expert witness at the soldiers trial.
I could be wrong though, probably am, so it will be very interesting to see how it all pans out.

I believe his mate was captured, but they only made it look as if his fingers were hacked off. Then, when Sean escaped, his mate was made to help them by lending him the car with the body in it.
Tilly; don't know how he ended up at the garage but when his mate arrived, he said something like, "Knew you'd be here. Didn't we always say if we got chucked out we'd always have a roof over our heads?"
