Sat through the tennis waiting for Casualty only they've gone straight into Killing Eve. Did they make an announcement when Casualty would be on?

I see that Caran has a thread about it on CB
Apart from live sporting events I tend to record everything I'm interested in and watch it when it's convenient, and in fact I usually have a bit of a backlog so it's not a problem if any programme gets postponed
If you had it set to tape does the sky box just not record till next week then or summit like that ?
I set my box for the evening and only tennis followed by Killing Eve recorded. I checked on BBC I player this morning to see if it had been broadcast and last one was 29th June so it will be shown at a later date I guess
I think they just carry on from the next week. They certainly did that with a programme I wanted to see. You won't miss an episode. Must drive the folk who compile TV magazines nuts too!
I wouldn't have minded so much if the Murray match was still on but it wasn't, it was finished so why not show Casualty as planned?
Not that I heard I was spitting feathers. A simple banner at the bottom would have been enough.
They annonced it about 5 minutes before Casualty was supposed to start, they said they were going to extend the coverage of the tennis and viewers can watch Casualty next week, not exact words but that was the gist of it.
For all those fans of Casualty who were disappointed that Saturday’s ep was bumped for the tennis, it’s confirmed that it will be on this coming Saturday instead. All subsequent episodes will be moved back a week.
