A new tenant has reported her tv isn't working. I know I used cable when I lived there but can't remember if that was immediately or if there's an aerial. Subsequent tenants got SKY installed, at their own expense, so the subject never came up.
Do I *have* to get an aerial installed ? I don't mind the tenant getting one installed, at their expense.

Unless you advertised the property to rent as having a TV aerial (and associated cabling) available for use, you're under no obligation to provide one.

Thanks Buenchico :)
Quote: This is a question that gets asked by rental tenants on a very regular basis, and the simple answer is that in most cases landlords are NOT obligated to to provide, maintain or repair a TV aerial.

Buenchico wasn't there when I started my answer, but at least I have confirmed his answer!
