Footnote for cruciverbalists: NatWest is an anagram of Ant Stew ;-)

What an idiot. Why would you say that even if you thought it?, unless you wanted to lose your job of course.
you're allowed to think that sort of thing, but to say it to a customer who's come in to discuss business is completely bonkers. Totally unprofessional.
One way of paying tuition fees. I doubt she saw that coming.
When in customer focussed employment one should keep such opinions to themselves.

He aint wrong. Imagine someone going around and trying to force you to believe in their god... Oh wait...
"The woman said being vegan was a "lifestyle choice" and she should not be "penalised" for it
"

No but she must also not be pandered to and catered for. It works both ways.
Total knobhead. but
"The bank said the outburst - which came after the woman told the bank worker she was a vegan - was "wholly inappropriate".
"

Why do they always feel the need to tell everyone?
That is disgraceful :/
On the contrary, we need rather more of them.
Hi can i have a £400 loan i'm a vegan.
Punchers or Vegans?
Spath//but she must also not be pandered to and catered for//

She was calling to ask for a small loan to help her business. She should expect to be spoken to politely.
I need a nutrition diploma so i can be a vegan and not die
But why did she feel the need to mention she was vegan, unless of course she was expecting preferential treatment?
"Sorry Ma'm our bank notes contain animal products. Good bye".
//No but she must also not be pandered to and catered for. It works both ways. //
What evidence do you have to say she was?

We do not have a full transcript of the conversation but I suspect she was asked what the loan was for and gave the full answer.
Vegans.
"We do not have a full transcript of the conversation but I suspect she was asked what the loan was for and gave the full answer"

So you are saying she wanted the loan because she was a vegan?

Sounds like an employee ready to leave their job.

Not sure why it's being suggested she shouldn't have been open about what the loan was towards.

Bank has handled this well.
"//No but she must also not be pandered to and catered for. It works both ways. //
What evidence do you have to say she was? "

As much evidence as anyone has to say she wasn't.
