hey epic gamers, so basically i'm having trouble with my sexuality.
ok sorry. seriously, i have a very hard time getting an answer due to my situation. the tos on most websites don't allow me to post because of my age, which is incredibly frustrating (The AnswerBank's terms of service says nothing about age). i've never had questions about my sexuality until recently. i'm a girl who likes boys, and that's it. but then i met someone who's openly asexual and biromantic. because of them, i looked more into asexuality and i thought i might be asexual. i also thought i was being stupid and extra, but i'm not sure. i'm very mature for being 11 (birthday was in dec), and i've been told that many times by adults, so i don't think i'm just being a dumb kid. i experienced my first masturbation experience when i was 9. i was never touched inappropriately and my parents never acted sexually in front of me, and before that, i've never watched porn. i was honestly curious and i was a relatively normal child. anyways, although i masturbate, i don't have any sexual feelings towards my classmates or by any older dude (talking about boys 13-18). my question is, do i not have have sexual feelings because i'm asexual or because i'm too young to have developed those feelings? and of course, i have crushes and ***, but romantically. i know to keep these thoughts to myself and i don't wanna tell my parents because 'tHeY dOn'T uNdErStAnD mE'. i know that's what every stereotypical emo teenager says, but i've talked to them before about my feeling and they've never been any help. i thought about telling my counselor at school, but they're going to tell my parents and i ain't having it. i feel lonely despite having a large friend group and the whole internet to talk to. i'm just being a *** but i can't help it. i'm so confused and i don't know what to do.

Although you feel like a very mature 11 year old, you are only just starting puberty which means you have got many years of hormones and confusing years to come yet. My advice is dont put a label on it. Just feel what you feel, be attracted to whom ever you want, whether that is girls/boys or no one at all. Just be you and the rest will follow. You have many years ahead...

At 11 it's possible your preferences haven't settled down yet. But even if they have the only way of knowing is to see how you feel as time goes on. Doesn't much matter either way does it. You get to know yourself as time goes on, no point in frettng about being unsure before you are. Accept the unsure situation and simply enjoy life.
Just be happy with who and what you are because it really doens't matter if you are gay, straight, bi, trans, a-sexual, whatever, as long as you accept that as your norm it's all fine. You're really young and there will be tons of time and experiences ahead of you and you might change who and what you are a dozen times over before you settle into something really comfortable for you, but again it doesn't matter, time is something you have a lot of, so no need to worry, just carry on carrying on and be happy and confident in yourself.
