Four In A Bed

Just been watching this programme about who wins the best bed and breakfast and noticed one couple have blankets on the bed .how many of you still use blankets .?

Yes over the top of our duvet in the main bedroom and on one of our spare beds

I've been to a hotel recently that used blankets under a throw.

We just have a sheet and a bedspread, so no duvet and no blanket.

I feel hot and stifled just thinking about blankets on beds. Too restrictive and uncomfortable. I feel a hot flush coming on! *Flaps hands in front of face without effect*

We just have a fitted bottom sheet and a duvet.

Me, I plead guilty. Two cotton blankets and a cotton bedspread does me. Even the lowest tog duvet is too hot for me.

fed up with duvets, if they're too hot you have to spend the night with a leg poking out the side. Far too inflexible.

No way could I go back to be tucked in under a sheet and blankets. So restricted!

Reminds me of a grim B&B we stayed at in London when my sis was in hospital about 40 years ago. Blankets on beds give me the blue horrors now.

apart from anything else, our upper blanket is an electric one, and very welcome.

I love getting into a cold bed under a lovely big squashy duvet. Even in this weather. I warm up really quickly.

If anything it is the duvet that is restricting because it's either on or off. With a couple of blankets or more, if you are too hot, you can remove one or vice versa if you are too cold.
