Corrie Theme Tune

Has the theme tune changed or is it a coincidence that I can hear a double bass throughout on my new tv?

I like the double bass pizzicato, murray. I can't believe I never heard it on my old tv so I'm trying to work out if this tv has much better speakers or if the tune has changed.

very odd as the new flat tvs are synonymous with poor "tinny "sound but yes the bass has always been there in recent years anyway

Well that's a nice surprise! I've replaced a Panasonic flat screen with a Sony flat screen.

i've got sony flat screen 55" too and the sounds "crap"even on its best settings, ive got a Yamaha sound processor to do my audio underneath

The theme has been re-recorded several times in the show's long history - and subtle changes to arrangements have been made, so this is probably the differend you can now hear.

Even the most subtle change in a piece of music leaps out at me instantly, so I always know if they re-record something, it's obvious to me, but probably less so to most people.
