under pressure is different from armchair answers
Lol.
oh dear ,I thought my general knowledge ok but I don.t know the answer to your question DTC so that makes me a thicko x
I always remember this and have told it on here a few times; in Family Fortunes, Les Dennis asked a girl,
Name any tourist attraction you might see in Paris. What do we reckon? Louvre? Eifell Tower? Notre Dame? Arc de Triomphe? Her answer was ---------- Hawaii!!
Not far out was she?!!!
cwm and col are both mountain/hill passes mally !
thankyou xx
Thought Cwm was a Welsh for valley.
cwm
/kʊm/Submit
noun
(especially in Wales) a steep-sided hollow at the head of a valley or on a mountainside
I love it when they always say - after they pass a question over - yeah I was going to say that.
cwm and col are both mountain/hill passes...
I'm afraid they're not. They are the birth places of glaciers and are a hollowed out bowl in a mountain side:

All these shows are seeded with such provocateurs so viewers can bask in what they regard as their superior general knowledge - that's what ups the viewing figures.

It also provides cheap copy for the likes of The Sun and Private Eye.
My favourite of all time - Family Fortunes ...

Les Dennis: We asked 100 people to name something red
Old lady contestant: My cardigan
I think people panic answer.
Spicerack please let us know which quiz show you are appearing on soon. Sure we'll all watch and marvel at your knowledge.
