I think all the parents were approached beforehand and asked if they objected to it being made. Presumably no one did object. Really gripping tonight I thought. I kept getting so frustrated by the lack of cooperation from some of his team.
Do you know that for a fact Helly? I was wondering after the James Bulger film.
I thought it was better tonight than last night, really good.
I think it is very good.
Ladyb - It was in the Radio Times, so presume it's true. It was an interview with the scriptwriter and said all the families 'consented or rather didn't dissent to it being made'. Jamie Bulger's family weren't consulted at all when the latest film about him was made.
Thanks Helly. Yes I knew the Bulger family weren't consulted that's why I asked the question. I expect what it says in the RT is true. Looking forward to the final part tomorrow.
oh I thought history was being re-written again

like the Liverpool Rhys Jones case - there were parts which were true

I did wonder if the NOTW would be touched upon and it was eventually.

Thoroughly enjoyed the programme. Excellent.
