Watched this last night as there was *** on other channels. It’s still a classic.
Thought they’d remastered it in colour though. So why don’t they air it.

the film has been dogged by copyright issues over the years, and it's likely that tv stations don't have the right to show a colorised version. (there are 3 btw - 2 released in the 1980s, only one of which was authorised by the film's owner, and neither of which was supported by Frank Capra. A CGI version was released in 2007.)
Not sure I'd want to see it in colour. I think it would lose a bit of it's appeal.
rockyracoon,, yes agree they coloured the old version of scrooge too i turn my colour off if i want to watch it, some films are just not meant to be coloured for colouring's sake
I purchased the colour version several years ago but have not got round to watching it .
