No, but he knew what he signed up for. £500,000. Previous contestants have had to put up with much worse. The whole idea of the series is that they are completely isolated from their families and the world.

Yes, they do allow loved ones in towards the end, done it for a few years now.

Loved James asking his girlfriend about Brexit! For goodness sake, he hadnt seen her for weeks and thats all he wanted to know. Laughed my socks off.

I'm watching it for the first time ever but only because Ms Willoughby brightens my days.

I'm also particularly fond of the constant screaming and squealing for any excuse and none from one of the contestants.
Now where did I put my woomera?

I thought there were a few very touching scenes there. Particularly Redknapp and Barrowman.

I only watch it for 2 seconds a day to see what Holly is wearing. Very expensive clothes, apparently. Don't know why they need to spend so much. She would look good in a bin bag.

Why Holly has to be trendy in there I don't know, well I do .. it's making money for some designer/ clothes chain somewhere. Dress sensible ... no ... asking too much.

I always find the letters from home and the way they carry on about the separation hilarious ,maybe because I was a naval wife for many years and had a lot of separation x

I would think there are some people who would be glad to spend a couple of weeks away from family and friends :-)
