Saw this last night and was completely mesmerised.
Had no idea that Armstrong suffered personal tragedy along with mishaps during missions prior to the moon landing.
Great cast too, good score and direction which culminates in a jaw-dropping landing sequence.

As ever, it’s one of those that ought to be viewed on the silver screen to gain the full effect, miss it at your peril, you won’t be disappointed.

does the film perpetuate the urban myth - does Mr Armstrong say "go Mr Gorski"?
miss it at my peril? will I die if I don't watch it?
Going to see this film on Thursday - saw the trailer and it looked excellent.

I’d forgotten why I rarely post film reviews any more.
Thanks for reminding me A. Why
B. Not to bother in future......
Just ignore them ChillDoubt. Maybe they should just keep their gobs shut if they've nothing sensible to say. I personally like film reviews so please keep posting. I saw The Wife last week and it was another excellent film starring Glen Close - have you seen it yet?
Question Author
No I haven’t Maggie but I did catch the back end of a review last week and it looked promising.
I’m looking forward to Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocket Man, though the latter isn’t released until next year.
The Girl In The Spiders Web is out next month too, which should also be good.

Forgot to mention The Nutcracker & The Four Realms, which looks like it’ll be visually stunning.
Oh yes, ChillDoubt, looking forward to Bohemian Rhapsody, also saw a wee snippet of this when I was at the cinema. Will keep an eye out for the others you mentioned - I just love the big screen.
It was an excellent film - and shows how much technology has advanced in the intervening time.

It was amazing to see just how seriously unsafe the module looked - it was basically a tin can!

Very atmospheric film, I enjoyed it.
