Not a question, just want to say how much I am enjoying this programme. So pleased there have been no spoilers in the press. Reminds me of the good old days of radio and tv when a cliff hanger was just that.

It was a bit daft how they let him go off and do his own thing after the incident.
More than a bit daft tonight and I was enjoyingmit thus far. A professional bodyguard attempts suicide with his Walther PPK loaded with blanks. The Suicide bomb carrier in custody ,Nadia, claiming her Muslim husband behaved in a sexist and bullying manner by locking her in the home whilst making his dodgy rv with suspect bomb makers. What is the Beeb thinking of?
I look forward to seeing how they go with this.
I felt it was a bit strange this evening. Why didn't the policewoman take any notice of David?
DS Budd is going to end in a whole world of grief if a connection is made between old army mucker, the rooftop sniper, and himself.
It's really good I think. The hour it is on passes so quickly. I can hardly wait to see the final part
Must admit to being a tad shocked when one of the main characters died - yes, we know who that person was but i am being sensitive to those who may have recorded it. It's just the type of guy i am:-) Read today somewhere that the Beeb have asked Jed Mecurio to come up with a script for a second series. Hope he obliges.
I wonder sometimes how most viewers work out what all the acronyms that are constantly used mean. Too many in my opinion. Should have a glossary of terms . The Memsahib is always asking me what ARV,PPO,CPO,SO19 etc etc . Difficult following the plot when half deaf and explaining all these acronyms. :-)
"Read today somewhere that the Beeb have asked Jed Mecurio to come up with a script for a second series. Hope he obliges."

I would second that.
Meanwhile Series 5 of Jed's other little gem, Line Of Duty, looks set to be aired in early 2019 - fingers crossed.

Brilliant news Ken!
Never watched Line of Duty but heard many good reports. Bit too late to try catch up but Bodyguard holds my particular interest at the moment.
If you ever do get the chance to catch up, retro, do so. Line Of Duty is class tv.
Ken
Will try to do so but I try to limit my viewing of anything to do with "The Job" nowadays :-)
Line of Duty was/is fantastic!! I would advise anyone who enjoys these sort of series to look on eBay or whatever and buy the dvds.
Well surprised to see Keeley's character died. I am sure I was reading that she was looking forward to appearing in series two!!
The Memsahib felt very cheated when Mrs Durrel got bumped off relatively early in the series. I couldn't believe DS Bunn was going to die at his own hands shortly after.

Ah. Perhaps this is a cunning subterfuge. Home Sec isn't really dead but the security services want the baddies to think so. Then the baddies will blow their cover and be nicked. :-)
Its brilliant to have a tv series that has a great story line, strong characters and lots of twists etc. Retrocop, I would strongly recommend Line of Duty, even though you were in the trade
Hope so Retro, as I like her character.
