im a big watcher of emmerdale but the debbie (morose)dingle story and even worse the missing "amelia" story are driving me nuts ,where's the comedy gone in this soap,

The Doug (mea culpa) storyline is equally as bad.

It's in all the daft situations...like four teenagers in a stolen Range Rover tanking along a completely deserted "road" (ie track) only to have a police car (being driven by the same frazzled bobby) suddenly following them....out of nowhere.
Makes me laugh, anyway.

I agree with all of you. Could someone please put Doug out of his misery, he's unbearable. Yes, we sniggered at the fact that it's always the same policeman, looking very fed up. Wonder what the Amelia story will turn out to be, think nasty new girl is involved there.
