Nominated, but never won. Did get a Golden Globe and a Bafta in a Supporting Role. The film did win 3 Oscars though.

The only thing I remember is that Irwin Allen produced the film (He was behind such TV Series as Lost In Space, Land Of The Giants & Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea, among others).

It was the first film MrG and I saw together and the film that made me decide that when I stay in a hotel I'll not have a room above the sixth floor..... :-)
