We've been catching up with the TV show Homeland over the past week. All I can say is that what's going on with Teresa May and Syria looks like it was taken straight from the script of that programme. In it, the US president (a woman) is being coerced into launching a missile strike in Afghanistan or Syria or Iraq to show strong leadership at a time when she's looking weak and needs to look strong both domestically and internationally. Remind you of any current event??
