I have just witnessed a new definition of:

"As thick as two short planks"

Two young girls from Burnley on Judge Rinder today.

I didn't know you could get that on telly out there.

Whenever I go to foreign parts all I can find is BBC World (which is awful).

"It fools the box into thinking it is in the UK." - why would you move abroad if you crave the UK?

Er... the weather, Tora.
Awwww - now I really need to see a link with the girls on.
To say I'm curious is a massive understatement - I'm from Burnley .... you never know, I might just recognise them :)

TTT.

Who said that I "crave the UK?"
The climate ?
It's just an assumption made by Brexiteer-in-chief, Tres Tora cos you live in the EU and are content. :-)
Don't watch the prog but went on iplayer to see what you were referring to sqad and, as a Burnley lad, i have to stick up for the girls. I didn't think they came across as thick as two short ones. A tad nervous and very giggly but some of that can be put down to Rinder himself. It's obvious the two are the very best of friends and were probably just enjoying being on tv while trying it on to get some cash from the programme. If what i hear is correct, it is the programme producers who pay the so-called penalties.
//Depends what you're watching on.. In my apartment in spain, we use to have a british sky box able to get all the channels i would watch at home. //

That was probably before they switched satellites. For coverage in most of Spain now you would need a huge dish.

//You can always connect the internet to the TV so you can watch almost anything!//

Only if you have a Virtual Private Network service that Sqad mentions.
sqad: "Who said that I "crave the UK?"
err you did, evidently you prefer our TV at least.
Occasionally, on YouTube I'll come across a video that is, for whatever reason, "not available in my country" -- so I turn on a VPn and hey presto, I can watch it. I did not realise that this makes me a treacherous American.

TTT.....I am a bit confused with your answer......but....."whatever."

Ken....you are correct, perhaps i was a little pre-emptive, but it was the constant giggling that got on my ***. Both good lookers though ;-)
