I have Freeview and a Humax recorder connected to the internet. Just lately fewer and fewer programmes seem to be available to watch after the event or on catch uo as we call it. Channel 4 requires registration now and BBC 4 just seems to be completely greyed out

Is this a trend that anyone else has noticed? I have reset the box just to make sure its not stuck.

Can't really answer, except to say that logging in to channel 4 is not a new thing. I was doing this since before the turn of the century.
We have freeview and a humax box but got so fed up with it we finally got Netflix and it's the best thing, tv wise, we've ever done.
I have had Humax box and Freeview for ages with no problems at all. Could it the area you live in?
Perhaps if you are specific about the box model. I have a humax box, but the internet connection (not that I use it) is for streamed channels, not catch up.

I have a smart tv anyway, but for catch up I use a fire stick.
