This is on tonight, BBC 2, 9pm, and may be of interest to anyone who has followed sandyroes walk. I'll be watching it for sure.

As soon as I saw your heading I thought of sandyRoe. ☺
Saw an interview with Debbie McGee and Raphael Rowe about this - sure worth a look.

A diverse group of people, so interesting.

I saw that too, mamy. It seems they stayed in very basic hostels and carried their own backpacks, didn't do the 'celebrity' thing. I think it will be at least worth watching the first episode tonight.
I fancied this too. I gave it 15 minutes and was bored to death.
Not like the other celebrity outings.
Won't be watching again.
What a whiny pain in the rear end the Rev Kate Whatshername was. Actually said on camera that she didn't expect there to a lot of walking, that they'd just do about 100yds and 'put their luggage on the van'.
It's a *** pilgrimage, you moaning idiot!
I didn't watch the above, I avoid anything on TV with Debbie McGhee.
I believe Reverend Kate didn't read up on the brief well.
My thoughts were on sandyRoe too. I would love to do it, the scenery is gorgeous.
Are you allowed to go on a motorbike?

I really enjoyed it, found it a refreshing change from the usual 'celebrity' tv programmes, the conversations between them were very interesting. I'm looking forward to the next episode, and of course, because of our very own sandyRoe it has more significance..well, it does for me.
I've now watched the first episode and also enjoyed it, despite not being a fan of all the participants I found their honesty enlightening and at times moving.
Question Author
I thought so too, mamy, they all seemed to put their tv personas away, and I learned a lot by googling some of the participants. You just don't know what's behind the 'face' people present to the world do you?
No you don't.
