Set it for series record, watched the new one on BBC2.

Good then?
Yeah....really good.

I can't remember if he was drinking or not?

Yes, I thought it was very good
.
He drove to work, ummmm, if that means anything.
Question Author
He said he had a nice meal and a few drinks with his family.
Was excellent, he was standing looking out a window showing his back, he had a tremor in his left hand ?
Having a few drinks is also a figure of speech.
I enjoyed it. But, would you really stop a trauma doctor to talk ,when he is rushing your child into theatre?
It happens all the time when somebody is having a heart attack and a member of the family weeps and wails and stops the necessary medical help being delivered.

It never ceases to amaze me. :/
There are people in life who, regardless of what's going on around them, see themselves as the most important thing in the world.

Dan Bowker may turn out to be one of those and get a sore face in the process.
I've just watched this and what annoyed me was that Dan instantly went after the surgeon and has never mentioned the boys who stabbed his son......
But then again...wouldn't be a programme if he'd behaved in a different way.... :-)

I'd still have asked who'd stabbed my son though, and why......x
The issue is not firstly who the murderer was, I suggest, but whether the surgeon was negligent.

The only dramatic tension for me is whether this latest example of media agitprop will come out in favour of angry white father who's lost his kid or protect the multiracial paradigm.
The father seemed to be putting the words he wanted to hear into the surgeon's mouth. ''So you had a few drinks'' etc. Surgeon looked bemused but didn't deny it. He didn't come over as being drunk.
Looking forward to the next episode.
Enjoyed it..surgeon a bit creepy
I didn't find him creepy.
I wish that I had paid more attention to the crucial part when the surgeon was operating on the boy's body but I had to look away.Don't know whether he made a mistake or not.
Surely if someone dies in theatre everyone present would have to give their version of events.
Andres it's on iPlayer if you want to look
Thanks . Will do ^^^
I'm pretty sure most "normal" parents would be chasing the police to find the killer rather than harrass the surgeon who tried to save their child.
John simm's character comes across as a bit unhinged.
He has lost his job and now his son, got to blame someone I suppose.
