Why hasn't he been made Lord like his brother?

Surely his contribution to TV and Planet Earth merits it - or what has he done wrong?

AOG mentioned the other day there should be a push for a Knighthood for David too, I added a link then.
Does he receive more pay if he’s made a lord? I’m pretty sure money is no problem to him so how would being made a lord benefit him?
Well...conservation being his interest, I would imagine being in the Lords would allow him to influence matters a bit more.
Aha, so it’d give him more political sway for his conversation beliefs, good Call on him becoming a lord I say.

So what exactly is his contribution to the show. He narrates it possibly goes to all the countries. But the divers cameramen etc are the real hero’s

It's probably no coincidence that no other similar programmes come close in terms of quality
Aah but he’s the face and the front man malafabob. Imagine if it was piers Morgan doing his job, it wouldn’t have been as entertaining. It’s teally a team effort.
So why wouldn’t it be as entertaining. You watch it for the camerawork and the planning and all the other stuff that make it a great show.

Just like John Surtees and his lack of recognition......
perhaps he doesn't think much of titles as such.
