The new series starts tomorrow night. I’ve never ever watched any of it, but after seeing a preview earlier I really want to start watching this. Will I have to watch the first 3 series to make any sense of it or can anyone give me a brief outline please? X

Gang warfare in 1920s / 30s Birmingham. Wonderful cast and acting. Sort of a period drama with balls. Not necessary to watch previous series. We joined in series 2 I think. Best thing the BBC have ever made IMHO.

Erm, I go to the hotel at Heathrow on Thursday and haven’t bought or packed a thing for New York!! So I have 24 hours to go shopping, iron, pack, watch three series of PB, clean house, sleep......

Take some warm clothes smow it was minus 3 yesterday when I spoke to the SiL. Have a FAB time and don't spend too much in those shops :o) x
