Contacting Virgin Media

Is there a best time to call Virgin to discuss a problem and get a British voice? I have just had a heated 'chat' with a foreign female, I told her I couldn't understand her but it didn't help, so I just gave up. I am on Talk Unlimited and know what is not included but she insisted I had used certain numbers or used call back which I hadn't. So I didn't get it sorted.
