Does anybody remember an american show called either "just my luck" or "just our luck" about a guy who found a genie in a bottle. The theme tune was real catchy and im sure the guy was played by the guy who played Jeff Colby in Dynasty. Im sure the genie was called Apu.

Yes in it was known as both Just My Luck and Just our Luck. Shown from 1983 the genie was a black man called Shabu. Sorry I'm not sure how to post links, but more info is on

"Just Our Luck" had a genie named Shabu, but no John James (Jeff Colby). 60's favourite "I Dream Of Jeannie" starred Larry "JR Ewing" Hagman, though... Both themes should be here

I suppose Richard Gilliland bears a passing resemblance to John James.
