Dont forget to watch Car Share tonight at 9pm, BBC1.. One of the best programmes on at the moment IMO, especially after last weeks episode.

perhaps its a Peter Kay thing, but i don;t get the programme at all.
I've already seen it on iPlayer. Really funny.
Not as good as the first series.
Agree with Dave50.
I think this is one of the best write ups on the show I have read so far, sums it up for me.

We have become so used to being challenged by sharp and convoluted comedy or drama that sometimes plain simple and gentle story lines don't always grab the attention - but of course for many it has done just that.

Of course I am a wee bit biased.

I love Peter Kay, but just can't get into this.
I too have seen the whole series on Iplayer and the last episode in this series is really worth watching.
Loved the last series, couldn't get into the 1st episode last week, but will keep watching x

There must be someone else who is enjoying it surely?
We aren't alone in loving it, figures from last weeks episode prove that.

//The return of Peter Kay's Car Share saw 6.4 million viewers tune in to BBC One at 9PM last night.//
Car Share is a brilliant comedy show, Peter Kay is his regular expected brilliant self, and his car sharer Siân Gibson is absolutely fantastic, but it seems that not enough credit is shown towards her.
In my opinion best double act since Morecambe & Wise.
I think it's great, such a simple formula and well written. The music is excellent too.

I have often wondered how do they know just how many people tune in to watch programmes?

Thanks for that Baz, very interesting.
It seems that the majority of sit-coms rely on 'serve and volley' punchline humour rather than letting the laughs in a situation or conversation arise naturally.
Peter Kay is a master at listening to, and reproducing, the patterns and rhythms of everyday speech and the unexpected humour they can entail.

An absolute gem of a programme.
Love it! Think it's so funny
It was delightful tonight.
Phoenix nights was a classic.
